This was a complete refurbishment of a 1960s two-bed apartment. The kitchen was one separate room of the living room and was dark.
We installed a steel beam and removed this brick wall, creating a kitchen-come-living room atmosphere. The kitchen now benefits from additional natural light, where we installed a new electric Velux window, which has additional steel works for support. The kitchen and bathroom have a high-end finish with new herringbone wood throughout.
The living room now also benefits from a new log burner for those cold winter months.
The spare bedroom now has a new bespoke fold-up bed, allowing this room to become an office when guests are not visiting.
All existing windows were replaced with triple glazing to reduce noise levels.
All new Philip Hue lighting was installed so the client could enjoy a variety of lighting moods for whatever the time of day.
